Swedish is the most well-known form of massage. With a general goal of improving overall health and reducing anxiety, Swedish techniques help release muscle tension, promote healthy circulation, relieve stress, flush toxins, and improve flexibility.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage is like Swedish massage, but a deeper level of pressure is used to work through to the deepest layers of muscle and connective tissue and work out those tight knots of muscle tension.
Sports Massage has a range of goals: improve flexibility and balance, enhance performance, prevent injury, recover after an event or workout, tone up for an event, or rehabilitate from injury.
The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) is your jaw joint. Several muscles work together for proper and comfortable jaw movement, and an imbalance of these muscles can lead to discomfort, pain, or some degree of dysfunctional mobility. TMJ therapy involves assessing and treating these muscles and mobilizing the joint to help improve comfort and function.
TMJ Therapy normally takes about 10-15 minutes and can be incorporated into any treatment.
When booking your treament, add a quick note to indicate if you would like TMJ included.
Prenatal massage is generally Swedish and/or Deep Tissue. We get you lying comfortably on your side, under sheets and blanket, with pillows to support your head and knees. we then safely and effectively address your tense/pain points while soothing you into a more relaxed and balanced state.
This vacuum therapy helps open up blood and lymph channels and can improve circulation throughout the body. Cupping can also help release muscles and other tissues that get stuck together due to high tension or reduced mobility.
Hot Stone Massage
Smooth, heated volcanic stones are used to massage away your stress and tension. The heat from the stones improves local circulation, which helps nourish and heal the soft tissues of your body. This treatment is useful for relief of tension, pain and stress in an exceptionally soothing way.
